DUAL Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Master Minded suffered a career-threatening injury in the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton on Monday.

Speaking half an hour after Master Minded had been pulled up and dismounted approaching the final fence, Nicholls, who did not see the injury first-hand, said: "It's not life-threatening, but it could be career-threatening.
"He's struck into a tendon, but I'm not sure which leg. He's done a similar thing before, and he's gone straight to Rossdales in Newmarket."
